Arcady Hall is an independent, small hall in Ilam, at the University of Canterbury, based in the UC accommodation residential village, a short 7-minute walk from the main teaching campus.

Each room has a single bed and desk, linen and towels are included. There is 1 bathroom to every 4 or 5 bedrooms.

Chateau on the Park, a DoubleTree by Hilton

189 Deans Avenue, Christchurch
(35 minute walk to Engineering Core, University of Canterbury)

King guest room | $250 per night, room only

Set among 5 acres of peaceful gardens with a private vineyard, Chateau on the Park features a restaurant, bar and fitness centre.

Each room includes heating, air conditioning, satellite TV and free Wi-Fi. The private bathroom features a bath, shower, hairdryer and organic toiletries. There is access to a golf putting area and bicycle hire. Ask the friendly staff about the complimentary shuttle to the CBD as they welcome you with a signature, warm chocolate chip cookie.

The Garden Court Brasserie overlooks the garden and offers al fresco dining during the summer months. The Den Bar has an open fire, and serves drinks, snacks and light meals.

Terms and Conditions

  • Accommodation can be booked as part of your registration process.
  • If you wish to hold a room prior to registering or require a number of rooms for your organisation, please contact leanne@conference.nz
  • Rates are per room per night and include 15% GST (goods and services tax).
  • Accommodation cancellations within 30 days of the ANZAMEMS 2024 Conference may be subject to a cancellation fee based on individual hotel policies.
  • Credit card details are required at the time of booking as a guarantee only, your card will not be charged. All accommodation charges must be settled directly with the Hotel prior to departure. No invoice will be issued.
  • In case of your non arrival or late cancellation, the hotel will be given access to your card details to charge the appropriate cancellation fee.
  • If you wish to charge back your accommodation this can be done at check-out if your organisation has made an arrangement directly with the hotel please notify leanne@conference.nz to enquire.
  • If when booking your hotel, the online system indicates it is full please email leanne@conference.nz with your preferred hotel and dates and she will be able to assist you. The hotel may not be full, your dates may just fall outside the period held by the organisers.
